Cutting out the bread is a facet of Paleo that many followers struggle with, but if you use substitutes like they are here, the process is easier.

Here's a recipe that plays on Thai cuisine’s marriage of sweet and salty flavors, but in a purely paleo, sugar-free way. Microwave for a hot lunch, or enjoy it cold, as you would a meat-based salad. They are snippets of my life and family. They show how I live as someone who eats and lives a primarily Paleo diet and lifestyle. It's real. Kelly is such a talented photographer. Her book makes me want to eat the food right off the page. Equally as good as the photography are her recipes. Kelly incorporates chocolate into each recipe so thoughtfully that we cooked from it all week and didn’t feel chocolated-out! The book is packed with delicious recipes for treats, but it also has a handful of savory recipes with a chocolate twist. If you enjoy chocolate even half as much as I do, then this book is a must-have!

This cookbook is a little franker than most, which isn’t that obvious from the cover. In particular, you’ll find the odd expletive in place and much of the writing is more conversational than other cookbooks. To me, this makes for a fun book, especially as it also has many stunning photos of the food that you’ll be making. But, some people simply don’t like the approach.
Chicken Curry Salad Ingredients: - 4 chicken breasts - 2 cups green grapes - 1/3 cup Paleo Mayo - 1 heaping tablespoon curry powde...r - 2 heaping tablespoons honey (or more!) - 1/2 cup slivered almonds - Sea salt (to taste) - Black pepper (to taste) Steps: 1. Cover your baking sheet with aluminum foil. 2. Set broiler on high, arranging rack so that the chicken will be about 2 inches from the heat. 3. Rinse your chicken breasts and cut off any excess fat. 4. Place chicken breasts side by side on baking sheets. 5. Sprinkle sea salt and pepper, to taste. Place chicken in oven and broil for 14 minutes. 6. Carefully flip each chicken breast, and place back in oven for it to continue to broil for another 14 minutes. 7. Once chicken cools off, grab your sharp knife and cut all four chicken breasts into small squares. 8. Place chicken, grapes, and slivered almonds in your mixing bowl; using your wooden spoon, mix them together. 9. In a separate bowl, mix your Paleo Mayo, honey and curry powder. This book has seem excellent hard to find recipes for paleo soups/sauces. These recipes use ingredients that should be acceptable to most paleo dieters (unlike other books that use sugar,flours,and other debatable ingredients. The downside to this book is that it is short and spends a decent amount of time talking about fruit smoothies that are too high glycemic for me.
These recipes are created with ease in mind, as we’re often cooking for others and accommodating our busy schedules… but they also all taste amazing. Chicken parmesan is not something that you would typically be having on Paleo because it is coated in bread crumbs. But this chicken parm is coated with Parmesan cheese and almond flour, which replaces the bread crumbs. You’ll still get that classic crunchy outer covering on the chicken, and of course the Parmesan will be baked right onto the chicken, so it’s just a matter of getting the other ingredients right. For the tomato sauce they are using garlic, oregano, and olive oil, and you can top it off with basil leaves and optional mozzarella cheese.
